Your Hub needs you...!
We are looking for local volunteers to help Henderson Hub run smoothly. You can give as much or as little time as you like, and we will provide support and training.
Volunteer opportunities could include:
- Stewarding events, checking tickets and showing people to their seats
- Helping in Elvira's coffee shop or on the bar during evening events
- Helping set up the hall for events
- Handyman jobs, painting and decorating
Event Volunteers
Become a Henderson Hub volunteer
Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From theatre, cinema and live music to art exhibitions and community events, they are the friendly faces that help make every visit to the Hub special.
We are currently looking for two roles to join the team:
- Event Stewards
- Bar Volunteers
Whether you can spare a couple of hours each month or help more regularly, your time will make a genuine difference. It is a chance to meet new people, learn new skills, support local arts and culture, and be part of a friendly community that enjoys bringing people together.
No experience is necessary. Just enthusiasm, a welcoming smile and a willingness to help.

Elvira's isn't just a coffee shop. It's a place where friendships are made, conversations flourish and our community comes together, and our volunteers are at the heart of it all.
You could help by:
- clearing tables
- delivering drinks and food
- offering a warm smile to our customers
