Live & Local - The Joe Card Band, Alex Scott and Steve Warner

23rd May MAY- 7.30PM (DOORS OPEN 7PM), TICKETS £10

A regular on the London and Hertfordshire music scenes, this will be Joe’s first appearance at the Henderson Hub with a full band.

Very much in the classic British storyteller tradition, Joe has established himself as a unique and prolific songwriter. Originally operating under the moniker Stolen Car, Joe released the album All in the Game in 2015, before switching to his own name for Anything Goes (2018) and the gorgeous acoustic record Nothing Matters (2023).

At the Henderson Hub there will be classic cuts from these albums, as well as previewing two records currently in the pipeline.

Drawing comparisons from as far afield as David Bowie and Billy Bragg, the music runs from the ethereal to the foot stomping, all tied together by Joe’s unique vocal delivery.

The Joe Card Band includes Aaron Griffiths (bass) and Michael Williams (drums/percussion). They’re all ready to make you smile, cry, laugh and dance.
